What's involved in a service?
A full service typically includes initial testing to assess the clock, a full strip down, repair of wear and tear where necessary, thorough cleaning (I do not use any ammonia based cleaners), rebuild/oiling and testing. Testing is usually 2x the going duration of the clock to ensure it performs as expected throughout it's natural running cycle.
All work carried out is with the clocks best interest in mind.
